Citroen to debut DS 6WR in Beijing
Citroen's new 'wild and refined' DS 6WR will be making a special appearance at this year's Beijing Motor Show.
The car has found its inspiration from the Wild Rubis concept and will become the manufacturer's first ever SUV.
It comes with either an e-THP 160 or THP 200 powerplant mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox. According to Citroen, the Grip Control technology offers optimised traction regardless of the terrain and without the need for a four-wheel drive system.
The brand says the wide and low body shape helps with the charismatic styling of the machine, while it is instantly identifiable thanks to the new DS Wing and an improved grille design.
Furthermore, it features an 'incisive light signature' with Xenon technology and daytime running lights in a 'tuning-fork layout'.
It is hoped the model will really help Citroen to make its name in the very competitive SUV market. Visitors to the Beijing event will be able to make their first impressions when the show begins on April 20th.
