Dacia Bigster To Start From £24,995

Dacia has confirmed that the new Bigster will go on sale from just £24,995 on-the-road when it hits the UK market later this year.

The car – the largest in the Dacia range to date – will be available in the UK market with three different trim levels that will all come in under the £30,000 mark with order books opening in March.

The price of the Bigster is set to be a major draw for potential buyers, with even the most expensive option undercutting the base model of a number of key rivals.

Expression trim come with a generous list of equipment that includes the likes of keyless entry, 10.1 inch centre touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual zone air conditioning and intelligent speed assist cruise control, as well as 17-inch diamond alloy wheels.

Journey trim adds 19-inch semi-diamond cut alloy wheels, upgraded upholstery and a powered tailgate, with Extreme trim offering 18-inch semi-diamond cut alloy wheels, a panoramic sunroof, modular roof bars and washable MicroCloud TEP upholstery – making it ideal for those who enjoy the outdoors.

The top two trims also benefit from heated steering wheel and front seats, as well as wireless phone charging and rear window privacy glass.

All three trim options will be available with a choice of two engine options, the first of which is a TCe 140 unit that combines a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine with a 48V mild hybrid system.

An all-new hybrid 155powertrain, with a 1.8-litre four-cylinder engine mated to an automatic gearbox and a larger 230v battery, is also available across all three trims, whilst a four-wheel drive version of the mild hybrid powertrain is offered on both the Expression and Extreme trims.

The two-wheel drive mild hybrid is expected to return 51.4mpg, with the full hybrid engine option boosting that figure to more than 60mpg.
