Dacia Enjoys Record-Breaking 2024

Dacia is celebrating its most successful year in the UK to date after the Romanian brand successfully broke its previous sales record.

Across 2024, Dacia sold 31,704 cars in the UK which was a ten percent increase on the previous year, thanks in part to the launch of a number of new models into the marketplace.

The latest version of the Duster has already been nominated for the Car of the Year award and hit dealerships back in November, hot on the heels of the new Dacia Spring – which is one of the most affordable electric cars currently on sale across Europe.

The seven-seat Jogger continued to be popular with a large jump in sales, with further growth for the brand expected in 2025 when the new Bigster hits the market.

The Bigster will be the largest car in the Dacia range and marks a first foray into the Compact crossover SUV market against the likes of the Hyundai Tucson and Toyota Rav-4.

"There’s no denying that 2024 was an ace year for Dacia, but the best thing is knowing that more car owners are enjoying the robust, modern designs and fantastic value for money of our cars,” Dacia brand director Luke Broad said.

“Naturally, we’re really looking forward to 2025, especially as we’re going to be adding some Dacia magic to the large SUV sector with the arrival of Bigster.”
