Ford reveals new apps for SYNC
Ford's innovative SYNC technology is now being integrated into the manufacturer's new models. These connective systems allow for greater interaction between the car and the driver.
One new function Ford has developed is Parkopedia, a parking app that allows drivers to search up to 15 million parking spaces. Another development is known as AUPEO!, offers the chance to tune into over 200 radio stations worldwide.
Paul Mascarenas, Ford's chief technical officer and vice president of research and innovation said customers are increasingly looking to integrate their personalised digital lives into their daily drive.
“These new AppLink partnerships significantly extend the growing range of smartphone apps drivers will be able to access by voice while keeping their eyes on the road and their hands on the wheel,” he continued.
The announcement of the new apps came alongside the launch of Ford's EcoSport Live! campaign, which will see 100 new Ford EcoSport SUVs loaned to some of Europe's top bloggers.
