Life really is an open door with the new Ford B-MAX
Ford is advertising its all-new B-MAX supermini-MPV with the slogan that "life is an open door".
It is a fitting message to promote, especially since there is a great probability that motorists will be clamouring to cross over the next-generation B-MAX's threshold as soon as they feast their eyes on the vehicle.
Here are just a few features which enable the all-new Ford B-MAX to stand out when out on the open road:
The new B-MAX presents a unique body design
One cannot begin to talk about the next-generation Ford B-MAX supermini-MPV without first picking up on the vehicle's state-of-the-art exterior design.
The outside of the car is highlighted – as is seen by the motor's mainstream promotions – by an innovative way of opening the front and back doors with the aim of enhancing accessibility.
Drivers who first go to open the new B-MAX's front doors and then also slide open the rear ones as well will expect to find a set of pillars separating the front of the interior with the back.
However, Ford has avoided this problem by effectively integrating the structural pillars of its next-generation B-MAX into the doors themselves.
The result of this design touch is the minimum amount of obstruction for drivers and passengers as they climb in and out of the flash supermini-MPV.
Another appealing aspect of the all-new B-MAX's exterior that needs to be touched upon is its wide range of paintjobs. From the bold hues, such as Panther Black and Blazer Blue, to the funky tones, like the Race Red and Mars Red options, there is a style to suit all moods.
It is not all about the outside with the Ford B-MAX
While a lot of talk about the next-generation Ford B-MAX is focussed on the exterior of the vehicle, there is plenty to admire once inside the supermini-MPV's cabin too.
Comfort is assured no matter how long the road trip with the inclusion of premium leather seats, for example, while even more luxury is afforded to the car's upholstery with the fitting of a lush leather steering wheel and matching gearstick.
Then there is the all-new B-MAX's full-length panoramic roof, which floods the interior of the car with natural light.
Should drivers need to carry a heavy load from A to B, it should also be noted that the latest edition of the Ford B-MAX comes complete with up to 2.35 metres of space in length once the rear and front passenger seats are folded flat.
Safety guaranteed in the Ford B-MAX
As well as packing a stunningly designed interior and exterior, the all-new Ford B-MAX supermini-MPV is also an incredibly safe vehicle to get behind the wheel of.
This is not just word of mouth mind, as the innovative car has worked its way into the list of European new car assessment provider Euro NCAP's 2012 class-leaders for vehicle safety.
One of the main design features that caught the eye of assessors at this institute was the car's aforementioned integrated door and pillar design.
As well as boosting accessibility into and out of the Ford B-MAX, the mechanism has been found to help the car score maximum points when being subjected to Euro NCAP's strict side barrier test.
