Mazda to showcase new concept at Geneva Motor Show
Mazda is poised to showcase new technologies and a brand new concept car at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
The manufacturer has confirmed that it will unveil its all-new Mazda Minagi compact crossover SUV concept at the industry exhibition, which runs between March 1st and 13th.
According to the company, the model represents its upcoming new-generation of vehicles, boasting SKYACTIV technologies and its new KODO design theme.
Its SKYACTIV engine, transmission and body ensure a low-weight model with extra safety, while the design theme conjures up "a powerful and emotive sense of pent-up energy and vitality".
The Mazda Shinari design concept car will also make its European debut at the motor show.
In other news, Mazda has released a new diesel version of its popular Mazda 5 model.
Featuring reduced emissions levels and increased fuel efficiency, the car includes a Euro 5 compliant 1.6-litre small-displacement turbo diesel engine and a "sporty driving feel".
