New Mazda 2 Announced

The brand new Mazda 2 is to go on sale in the UK early next year.

With its innovative Skyactiv technology, the brand's latest car will bring new levels of technological sophistication, driving pleasure and active safety to the highly competitive B segment.

The arrival of the latest Mazda to the UK will be celebrated with great deals on the model. Powered by a range of Euro 6-compliant SKYACTIV powertrains, it includes an integrated navigation system, 16-inch alloy wheels, privacy glass, dusk-sensing lights, rain-sensing front wipers as well as high-end rear parking sensors.

Mazda's best-selling UK model will offer a choice of 12 petrol and four diesel variants across its 16-strong line-up.

And it will set new standards for infotainment, in-car connectivity and equipment levels in the segment with the 90ps SE-L Nav models featuring a seven-inch colour touch-screen, a rotary Multimedia Commander infotainment control, MZD Connect, DAB radio, and a satellite navigation system as standard. Sport Nav models also benefit from the addition of 16-inch alloy wheels, smart keyless entry and climate control air-conditioning.

Extra knee and shoulder room is given and there is improved seat comfort. The car features a user-friendly cabin layout and a level of cutting-edge technology unique to its class. The premium quality of its interior finish will be another key selling point.

As well as a high-end interior, the latest model features the signature 'wing' front grille and predatory headlamp styling, identifying it clearly as the latest addition to the Mazda family. The all-new supermini shuns bog-standard B-segment styling in favour of a dynamic, muscular, cab-rearward design which incorporates a longer wheelbase with smaller overhangs to maximise interior space.
