New Vauxhall Combo to offer choice to van drivers
The latest iteration of the Vauxhall Combo will give van drivers a wide variety of specifications and offerings to choose from.
Due to go on sale next year, the Combo will be available with two different wheelbases and roof heights, meaning commercial vehicle drivers can go for the size that will be most suited to them.
The largest version of the model will be able to hold 4,200 litres of cargo, while its shorter wheelbase counterpart will have space for 3,400 litres of items.
Motorists will also be able to choose a drivetrain that is perfectly suited to their needs, as the Combo will come complete with four different diesel engine choices, ranging from a 1.3 CDTi to a 2.0 CDTi, with the latter coming with a six-speed manual gearbox.
All drivetrains, with the exception of the Tecshift automated five-speed manual transmission variant, feature start/stop technology to save on fuel consumption and reduce emissions.
Drivers keen to cut their carbon footprint may also want to consider Vauxhall's latest Corsavan ecoFLEX, which, the Luton-based marque claims, is the firm's "most economical commercial vehicle ever".
