Nissan to unveil new concept
This year's Geneva Motor Show is set to show driving enthusiasts what Nissans of the future will look like.
While the Japanese firm is enjoying something of a resurgence in Europe at present, given the popularity of both the Juke and Qashqai models, the company will unveil a bold new concept at the motor show.
The Invitation concept will be revealed at the industry event and Nissan has claimed that it will provide the inspiration for a forthcoming model to join the Micra and the Juke in the compact hatchback segment.
Advanced safety features and strong fuel economy are said to be key features of the concept, while it will also point to the future of Nissan's styling ambitions.
Francois Bancon, deputy division general manager of product strategy and product planning division at Nissan, said: "The name we have given to this concept is self-explanatory.
"It is designed to be inviting thanks to its sensuous exterior design and generous and comfortable interior space, cleverly packaged within compact overall dimensions."
