Nissan Unveil New Ariya NISMO

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the NISMO sports brand, Nissan has announced a new version of the best-selling Ariya.

The Ariya NISMO marks the first pure electric car in the NISMO family.
The NISMO performance brand is celebrating its 40th anniversary.
This is set to be the most powerful Ariya yet and will launch in European markets.

The best-selling Nissan Ariya is about to get an upgrade. Say hello to the Ariya NISMO which is set to be released in celebration of the NISMO brand’s 40th anniversary.

This marks the UK return of the NISMO brand which will see existing Nissan models given a high-performance upgrade.

The Ariya NISMO will also be the first fully electric car in the NISMO brand.

Performance-inspired design

Nissan has given the Ariya several feature upgrades to create an exhilarating drive. These include:

An aerodynamic design

Taking inspiration from Japanese design principles, drag is reduced and downforce is greater.

High-grip tyres

Offering enhanced performance in conjunction with a tuned Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC). Sensors are used to control brake pressure in certain conditions by monitoring motion and driver input.

Fine-tuned e-4ORCE system

The system delivers improved torque distribution to the wheels for enhanced power.

Finely tuned brake pads

Drive with confidence in all weather conditions thanks to increased stopping power.

Dynamic suspension

Working with the e-4ORCE system, front and rear suspension are maximised to improve performance and control.

Premium details

Inside the interior are design features exclusive to the Ariya NISMO. These include ergonomically designed seats boasting a Formula E inspired look. While black alcantara upholstery is used throughout with racing red accents.

The exterior looks just as good with a range of design upgrades. At the front, a revised front bumper is instantly recognisable with large air vents and a red lower splitter.

There’s also sporty alloy wheels and an aggressively styled bumper to show off its performance credentials. Not forgetting the striking NISMO badge.
