PEUGEOT E-5008 Named Best Electric Seven-Seater at What Car? 2024 Awards

The seven-seater electric SUV stood out to judges with its spacious interior and competitive electric range.

It may be new, but Peugeot’s latest all-electric SUV is already making quite a name for itself. It was recently named ‘Best Electric Seven-Seater’ at the What Car? Electric Car of The Year Awards 2024.

Impressive refinement

With seven seats across three rows, the Peugeot E-5008 offers a spacious interior to accommodate the whole family.

Judges praised the space offered inside, with plenty of room across all three rows to ensure a comfortable ride. What’s more, road noise is minimal allowing passengers to enjoy conversations without having to raise their voices.

Sector-leading range

Also contributing to the Peugeot E-5008’s award win was its impressive electric range. According to Peugeot, it’s the only seven-seater model in the EV segment to offer up to 410 miles (WLTP) range.

Built on the Stellantis STLA-M platform, the Peugeot E-5008 comes with a choice of electric powertrains. The standard version features a 73kWh battery and 210hp electric motor which offers up to 311 miles (WLTP) range.

Meanwhile, the Long Range version offers a 98kWh battery with a 230hp electric motor, producing the 410-mile figure.

Luxurious style

Another thing that stood out to judges with the Peugeot E-5008 was its high-end design. The interior is packed with the latest technology including the new Peugeot Panoramic i-Cockpit. This presents all main controls including a head-up display in a single 21” curved panoramic display.

Other standard features include ‘Uziris’ and ‘Irize’ embossed fabric with a leather effect trim for a decorative touch. Tri-zone climate control allows everyone to sit comfortably with their preferred temperature set.

From the outside, the Peugeot E-5008 is even more striking with LED headlights and a three-claw lighting signature. Along with 19” ‘FUJI’ Black diamond-cut alloy wheels, and Gloss Black roof rails.
