Rare Fisker achieves £50k at auction
A 2006 Frisker Tramonto, described as the "star of the show" at the recent BCA Bedford auction, was sold for £50,000.
The car, the only right-hand model in existence is one of just 15 built, was painted in Titanium Quarts Metallic paint and features fine Italian leather seats.
According to the auction's organisers, the money fetched for the model was 172 per cent of its CAP price.
The Tramonto is based on the Mercedes-Benz SL 55 AMG and bares some resemblence to the modern-dat range of Aston Martins, which is because the Californian based company was founded by former Aston head designer Henrik Fisker.
Alan Gupwell, BCA corporate account manager for Lex Autolease, said: "The high end prestige market has a strong following with buyers and themed events such as this create a great deal of interest.
"However it is notable that there was demand across a wide range of cars in this sale, underlining the strong start to trading in 2012."
