Reduced emissions mean savings on Mazda2 and Mazda6
Businesses looking to replace their company car fleets and eco-conscious motorists across the UK could be tempted to buy Mazda following a recent statement from the firm.
The Japanese car maker has announced that the lower emissions on its Mazda2 and Mazda6 models will now see drivers benefit from reduced tax liability.
As a result of a recent decline in the cars' CO2 emissions, Mazda has said that company car drivers will benefit from reduced benefit-in-kind.
Steve Jelliss, Mazda fleet and remarketing director, explained: "At a time when corporate and personal budgets are being squeezed, Mazda customers are able to benefit from cash savings through these emission cuts.
"The Mazda range is already well-known for its style, specification and reliability, and this development further enhances our value for money credentials."
Meanwhile, the firm recently revealed that most of its current line-up can now be purchased on a No VAT basis.
