Renault Master Wins Trio of Awards at 2025 Parkers Van and Pickup Awards

The latest awards follow the van being named International Van of the Year, showing its influence within the sector.

The Renault Master has won not one but three awards at the 2025 Parkers Van and Pickup Awards. Now in its fourth generation, the Renault Master is a large van that continues to innovate and impress.

All-around excellence

The Master’s trio of latest awards show just how practical and efficient it is whatever version you choose. Not only was it named Van of the Year – a prestigious title in itself – but also Best Large Van, and Best Electric Van with the E-Tech 100% Electric.

The large light commercial vehicle (LCV) was recognised for its continuing improvements in both design and efficiency. Tom Webster, Vans Editor of Parkers, said:

“This was a strong year for new commercial vehicle launches, but the Renault Master stood out for having made advances in areas that really matter to van customers. The new Master’s cabin is a comfortable and practical place, while there has been real thought put into elements such as storage and practicality.”

The three titles join four previous awards for Renault in the Parkers New Car Awards recently. This brings a combined total that surpasses any previously awarded to one manufacturer by Parkers.

The New Renault Master

If you’re wondering how the Renault Master has changed with the latest version, there have been several key changes. Each has been made to make the Master an even more practical, efficient workhorse to suit a range of businesses.

The latest model features a 40mm wider side door opening and is 100mm longer than the previous version. This makes for easier access to the load area for loading and unloading, as well as more cabin space.

Payload is also greater with up to 1,625kg available, along with a 2,500kg towing capacity. Elsewhere, you’ll find up to 25% more storage inside the cabin as well to tidily store personal items and belongings.

Even with the diesel version, you can expect improved efficiency. The Blue dCi engine now offers both reduced fuel consumption and fewer emissions. Of course, the E-Tech 100% electric version is more efficient, providing up to 285 miles (WLTP) range and zero tailpipe emissions.

In addition to all of this, the new Renault Master still keeps design in mind with attractive features and premium-feel materials. Connectivity is seamless with the OpenR Link multimedia system, which is standard in every model.

There are also 20 advanced driver assistance systems onboard to ensure a smoother drive and safer manoeuvres. With its updated technology, thoughtful design, and loadspace, it’s no wonder the Renault Master received such a glowing review.
