Renault Scenic E-Tech Takes Industry Award
The Renault Scenic E-Tech has been named as “New Car of the Year” at the Motor Trader Industry Awards 2024.
The EV has picked up a raft of awards since being introduced in 2023, most notably earlier this year when it was named as the Car of the Year 2024 at the Geneva Motor Show back in February.
The latest incarnation of the Scenic - the first to be fully electric – is available with either a 170hp or 220hp motor and a choice of two different battery packs that gives a range of up to 379 miles.
“To receive such praise from Motor Trader and industry professionals is very rewarding,” Adam Wood, Managing Director of Renault Group UK, said.
”It is another fantastic illustration of how the Scenic E-Tech 100% electric continues to set the benchmark in a highly competitive market, not just against electric vehicles but all available new cars.”
The accolade is the latest in a long list of awards that the pure-electric model has won since its introduction in 2023, which notably include the “Car of the Year 2024” title that was awarded at the Geneva Motor Show in February.
