Renault unveils low-emission Clio
Renault is boosting the eco-friendly credentials of its vehicles with the release of a new Clio that emits less than 100 g/km of CO2.
The all-new low-emission Renault Clio features a 1.5-litre diesel engine and can be specified as an option on the Expression trim level version of the car.
It emits just 98 g/km of CO2 and can achieve fuel economy figures of 78.4mpg, 2.1 mpg higher than its predecessors.
Available in three and five-door version, the new Clio benefits from zero vehicle excise duty, London Congestion Charge exemption and 100 per cent capital write down allowance.
On top of this, an optional 'eco pack' offers 15-inch Aero wheel trims, body-coloured Aero rear spoiler and ultra-low resistance tyres.
"Already hard at work on its zero emission range and latest downsized engine, Energy 1.6 dCi 130 with Stop-Start, Renault is accelerating its programme of reducing the environmental impact of its vehicles even further with an improved low-emission Clio," the manufacturer commented.
Renault is currently showcase its Fluence zero emission model at the Cannes Film Festival until May 22nd.
