Revised Citroen C3 heading to 2013 Geneva Motor Show

A reworked version of the Citroen C3 supermini is to launch across the UK in the spring, following its public debut at the 83rd Geneva Motor Show next month.

The range has been a hit with motorists ever since the first model was released onto British roads in 2002, with almost three million units sold to date.

After celebrating the tenth anniversary of the range's introduction last year, Citroen has opted to present the C3 supermini with a brand-new style for 2013.

As such, fans of the series are likely to quickly notice that the front end of the car's exterior has been presented with an entirely new face.

The inclusion of updated chevrons and bumper mounted LED daytime running lights also helps the new Citroen C3's front to boast plenty of style and sophistication.

Head around to the back of the French manufacturer's reworked supermini and motorists will also be able to spot a cluster of new tail lights, which work beautifully in tandem with fresh reflectors set underneath the car's rear bumper.

Finishing off the outside of the revised Citroen C3 is the fact that the vehicle can be decorated in nine paintjobs, including an exclusive Ink Blue hue.

Step inside this supermini though and the treats just keep on coming, with the car's cabin being brought up to date with the inclusion of slick chrome detailing.

A thermo coated soft touch dashboard design is also sure to leave drivers in awe, as is the fact that the interior can be enhanced further with the optional addition of new dashboard strips in matt black, a warm brown or Moondust grey.

All of these options are designed to co-ordinate magnificently with the reworked Citroen C3's revised upholstery.

Motorists wondering how the new C3 will function on the road will also want to note that the 67bhp 1.0 and 81bhp 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engines already in use in the Peugeot 208 are both being fitted under the bonnet of this fresh Citroen supermini.

The revised Citroen C3 will be displayed at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show between March 7th and 17th, before being released nationwide in late spring.
