Setting out the new Fiat Panda 4x4 and Panda Trekking
Italian vehicle maker Fiat has revealed full details of its new Panda 4x4 and Panda Trekking vehicles, ahead of their releases in the new year.
The Fiat Panda 4x4 has been part of the Italian car giant's portfolio since 1983 and has shipped more than 6.5 million units over this period.
In order to celebrate the popular brand's 30th anniversary in the motoring scene, Fiat is releasing the third-generation Panda 4x4 early next year.
With the release, drivers will be presented with a vehicle that is capable of performing just as well off road than on tarmac surfaces.
This is thanks to a permanent four-wheel drive system which can deliver assured off-road sure-footedness and excellent on-road manners seamlessly.
Furthermore, the all-new Fiat Panda 4x4 has been designed with the intention of catching the eye and leaving onlookers in total awe.
A satin aluminium finished skid-plate, roof rails and side mouldings complete with a '4x4' logo all help give the vehicle's exterior plenty of character, while black wheel arches, 15-inch dark alloy wheels and body-coloured '4x4 style' bumpers gives off an aggressive vibe.
When it comes to the new Fiat Panda Trekking vehicle, motorists are greeted with a black skid-plate instead of the 4x4's satin aluminium style, as well as lighter finish alloy wheels.
There is little to separate the interiors of the two new Panda cars though, with both featuring twin-coloured seats, a sleek full-colour dashboard screen and door panels etched in eco-leather elements.
Elena Bernardelli, marketing director of Fiat Group Automobiles UK, commented: "The Fiat Panda 4x4 is one of the best-known and most capable four-wheel drive cars available, and we are delighted to announce it for the UK.
"And the new Panda Trekking is also an exciting introduction from Fiat, and will be an ideal choice for customers who care about style but don't need a full 4x4."
