Skoda Adds To Kamiq Range

Skoda has announced a new addition to the Kamiq range that will go on sale later this month.

The new Design Edition will start from £25,855 on the road and will sit between the SE and SE L Editions to create four trim options for the model.

The Design Edition comes with 17-inch Propus aero alloy wheels, black roof and door mirrors and privacy glass as standard as part of a stylish package, with the interior including sports seats, a three-spoke steering wheel and red dashboard trim.

Two engine options will be offered, with a 1.0 TSI 95PS and a 1.0 TSI 116PS as the choices, with a manual gearbox as standard. The larger of the two engines is also available with a seven-speed DSG automatic ‘box.

Fuel consumption for each drivetrain option is in excess of 50mpg.

First deliveries of the Design Edition are expected to take place in the spring.
