Stephen Fry to voice Tom-Tom sat-nav
Stephen Fry has been announced as the latest celebrity to lend his voice to the popular Tom-Tom satellite navigation series.
The QI presenter is well known for his distinctive tone, having previously voiced the audio books of the Harry Potter series of stories.
While Fry's commands will help drivers reach their intended destinations, the instructions have been tweaked in order to appease fans.
Among the comments included in the new package are: "Now when possible, could you turn around. Ideally don't do it when impossible. Bless!
"So, let's see now, after 300 yards turn left then go straight on. This is going awfully well isn't it?
"Now then, after 500 yards you have reached your destination. Congratulations. I think I may be falling in love with you."
Fry is the latest in a long line of celebrities to have used their voices for such purposes.
Actor Brian Blessed, Top Gear star Jeremy Clarkson and US rapper Snoop Doggy Dogg have all entered the satellite navigation world.
