Tenth anniversary Mazda3 set for launch
To mark the tenth anniversary of the very first Mazda3, the manufacturer has launched an all new model of the vehicle.
The car found itself coming off the assembly line in Hofu, Japan in June 2003, providing a new lease of life for the C-segment.
Mazda3 provided drivers with quality performance and handling while sporting a top-of-the-line exterior and interior design. This is something that the brand has intended to maintain throughout all of its models.
Under the 'Zoom-Zoom' generation of vehicles, the Mazda3 sold an incredible 2.2 million vehicles and picking up 99 awards when it was first released - including the coveted Car of the Year title.
Mazda then followed this up with a high performance model in 2006 - the MPS. It featured a torque management system and custom-tuned suspension and brakes, to give drivers a thrilling ride.
While the 2009 second generation Mazda3 provided drivers with a safer drive, whilst being both frugal in cost and fuel usage, it didn't reduce the performance.
The 2009 model also saw the debut of Mazda's idle-stop system, which still delivers some of the fastest restarts for vehicles in the world.
At the Frankfurt Motor Show, the latest in the popular Mazda 3 brand will make its entrance, with the outside still exhibiting the same powerful image, with dynamic flowing lines.
According to Mazda, the new cabin has some of the best dimensions for any car in its class, whilst giving passengers a relaxing atmosphere.
The car incorporates SKYACTIV technologies for a light body, chassis, engine and transmission, while the vehicle is still capable of delivering top-quality performance and driving dynamics to match its image.
