Tewkesbury MP, Laurence Robertson, visited Bristol Street Motors Cheltenham Ford to meet the dealership’s award-winning apprentice.
Having our MP come and visit and show us some support has been great!
Mr Robertson visited Bristol Street Motors Cheltenham Ford to congratulate Connor Reid, 18, for winning the national ‘Ford Apprentice of the Year’ Award. Out of more than 1,000 Ford apprentices across the UK, Connor, who was praised for his professionalism and skills, received the much-coveted accolade.
During his visit, Rob Lewis, who oversees the Hayden Road site, gave Mr Robertson a tour of the dealership and the departments, and introduced him to the team including Connor and the site’s newly-promoted sales manager, Darius Brazdys.
Rob Lewis said: “We are very proud of Connor’s achievement. He has demonstrated his excellent skills as an apprentice technician and has shown professionalism, maturity and enthusiasm. We are delighted to have him working with us and I am thrilled that Mr Robertson had the opportunity to meet him.
