The UK's Favourite Christmas Songs Revealed
- The poll by Skoda surveyed 2,000 motorists.
- Over 54% of people said that they enjoy driving over Christmas.
- While 27% of people aren’t a fan of in-car Christmas sing-a-longs.
With less than a week to go until Christmas, the festive hits are out in full force. A new poll by Skoda has revealed the UK driver's ultimate Christmas songs.
Over 2,000 motorists took part in the survey, ranking their top songs to listen to while driving home for Christmas. You might be surprised to learn that Chris Rea’s ‘Driving Home for Christmas’ didn’t take the top spot.
It was The Pogue’s ‘Fairytale of New York’, followed by ‘Driving Home for Christmas’ in second place. In third place was ‘Last Christmas’ by Wham!
The survey also found that 54% of people enjoy driving over the festive period. With 30% of people agreeing that a Christmas soundtrack is essential to the journey.
However, 27% of people surveyed aren’t fond of sing-a-longs on the road and the All-Electric Skoda Enyaq is ideal for those people. Drivers can still listen to their favourite festive hits on the road but mute sound in the back seats with the range-topping Canton sound system.
