Vauxhall Insignia Country Tourer set for January dealership debut
The new Vauxhall Insignia Country Tourer is set for a January dealer release date, the manufacturer has confirmed.
It will be available to purchase from £25,349, and the all-purpose vehicle boasts that it provides better value for money than other cars in the D-segment.
Based on the Sport Tourer model, the car comes with all-wheel drive, as well as a high ground clearance and a "tougher" styling.
Unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show, it is just one of the many new Insignia ranges launched at the event this month.
Available in two trim levels, the Country Tourer and the Country Tourer Nav, both come with 2.0 CDTi engines with 163PS. The engine is available with either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission.
Stuart Harris, Vauxhall’s head of Carline Brand, said: “With competitive pricing and generous standard equipment levels, the Insignia Country Tourer looks set to shake up the D-segment crossover sector.
“The Insignia Country Tourer is perfect for a winter holiday, on snowy roads, or simply when the going gets tough. Even on urban roads its robust looks give it strong stand-out appeal.”
