Vauxhall unveils new Vivaro
After weeks of expectation Vauxhall has finally lifted the lid on its new Vivaro commercial van.
According to the manufacturer, the latest version of the successful series will blend 'award-winning sculptural artistry' with 'technical precision'.
It comes with a choice of diesel engines, including the 1.6 CDTi and the 1.6 BiTurbo CDTi with sequential turbocharging and a twin-cooler system.
The latter uses two turbochargers that work in harmony to offer stunning performance while keeping an eye on fuel economy. In fact, the Vivaro delivers fuel consumption of 47mpg on a combined cycle.
For those with different needs, the Vivaro is available with two lengths and two roof heights - known as Combi and double cab. The lengths, measuring 4,998mm and 5,398mm respectively, make it 216mm longer than its predecessors.
Vivaro's are available with daytime running lights that utilise LED technology and the model as a whole is presented with a wide face and practical tail end.
