Vauxhall vans top July sales charts
Vauxhall, the UK's largest manufacturer of commercial vehicles, has posted positive sales results for July.
According to the firm, July saw sales volume increase by 37 per cent when compared to the same period in 2010.
The manufacturer said the improvement is largely down to the popularity of the Vauxhall Vivaro, with sales of the model up 88 per cent on last year.
It is thought that sales of the Vivaro and other top names including the Astra Van, Combo and Movano, have been boosted by Vauxhall's four-year warranty and a host of other after sales benefits.
Richard Collier, Vauxhall's national commercial vehicle and b2b sales manager, commented: "July has proved to be yet another big month for Vauxhall van sales.
"I am pleased that we are number one at retail for the fourth time this year. It's great news for Vauxhall that there’s still strong demand for high quality vans with low running costs and excellent manufacturer support."
