What's On In August At Co-op Live?

A fresh month means a fresh list of acts heading for Manchester to hit the stage at Co-op Live; the newest and largest indoor arena in the UK.

First up on 8 August is international pop sensation Justin Timberlake, who arrives in town for the second date of the UK leg of his latest world tour.

Originally part of the boyband NSYNC, Timberlake has gone on to forge a hugely successful career as a solo artist, helping to cement his position as one of the leading music artists in the world.

As an added bonus for those attending the event, Co-op Live will put on an official throwback party that is free to enter from The Street, with plenty of famous hits from the 2000s that you can dance to until the early hours.

A week later, Noah Kahan returns to Manchester with the Grammy Award-nominated star – who scored his first career Number 1 earlier this year – being supported by Maisie Peters.

Kahan’s unique style has made him popular around the world, achieving mainstream success with the album Stick Season – with the title song going viral on TikTok before reaching number one in multiple countries.

Jack Catterall and Regis Prograis had been set to take part in the first ever boxing bout at Co-op Live on 24 August, but local fighter Catterall – from nearby Chorley – has been forced to withdraw from the light-welterweight bout with injury.

It means the month will instead draw to a close with the visit of Niall Horan on 27 August.

Supported by Del Water Gap, Horan’s appearance is set to be one of the highlights to date at the arena as the former One Direction member continues with his latest tour at the venue partially backed by former bandmate Harry Styles.
