Terms & Conditions for Vehicle Finance
We are a credit broker and not a lender. Finance is subject to status and finance company acceptance. We can introduce you to a limited number of lenders and their finance products. We will typically receive a commission from the lender, as either a fixed fee or a fixed percentage on the amount you borrow. The commission we earn does not change by the type of finance. A guarantee may be required. The finance rate will vary dependent of customer personal circumstances for in dealership purchases.
Terms & Conditions for 14 Day Money-Back Guarantee
Applies to all used, ex-demonstrator and pre-registered cars. Customers can return the car to the dealership within 14 days from delivery/collection, if usage is under 500 miles, and receive a full refund (except for road fund licence which is refunded pro-rata directly by DVLA) and cancellation of any finance arranged through us, provided that it is returned in the same condition with all keys, manuals etc. The customer will be responsible for arranging return to the dealership and for any costs of doing so.
If the V5 has not yet been received by the customer and cannot be returned with the car, a sum of £250 shall be retained from the refund until such time as the original V5 is provided, or the dealership is able to submit the registered keeper change online.
Any part-exchange vehicles will be paid at the agreed valuation unless a return of the part-exchange vehicle is agreed. Any return of the part-exchange vehicle would be without any liability for the condition of the part-exchange. Excludes commercial vehicles and motorcycles.
Terms & Conditions for Home Delivery
Home delivery on used cars is free if you live under 30 miles from the Bristol Street Motors dealership where the vehicle is purchased. Any subsequent delivery cost is calculated at an additional £1 per mile over and above 30 miles.
Home delivery is only available Monday - Friday and across mainland England, Wales and Scotland (subject to the delivery location being accessible). The following locations are excluded from Home Delivery: Northern Ireland, Ireland, Scottish Highlands, Orkney Isles, Outer and Inner Hebrides, Western Isles, Shetland Isles, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Scilly Isles and Channel Isles.
In order to protect against fraud (including identity theft) the following process will be followed:
- Customers are required to provide sight of their driver's licence prior to Home Delivery either (at Bristol Street Motors' absolute discretion) (i) by video call with the supplying dealership; or (ii) by prior arrangement in person at a local Bristol Street Motors dealership.
- Home Delivery will be to the customer address on the Vehicle Order Form which must match the address on the customer's driver's licence.
- The vehicle will be driven to the customer address by the supplying dealership (or its agent).
- Delivery of the vehicle will only be to the named customer and their driver's licence must be available to be re-checked on delivery.
Terms & Conditions for Reserve Online
On successful payment of the reservation fee, we will reserve your chosen vehicle (the Vehicle) for you for 48 hours (the Reservation Period) to enable you to speak to one of our sales advisors. If you make an appointment within the Reservation Period, we will reserve the Vehicle for you until the time of your appointment and extend the Reservation Period until your appointment.
If you have not made an appointment with the selling dealership within 48 hours to discuss the Vehicle, or you do not attend an agreed appointment within 7 days, the Reservation Period will end, your reservation will be cancelled, and your reservation fee will be refunded to you.
Terms
There is no obligation for you to buy the Vehicle, or for us to sell the Vehicle, because of the reservation fee payment. When we receive the reservation fee in cleared funds, we will reserve the Vehicle for you and prevent its sale to a third party for the duration of the Reservation Period. You will receive a confirmation email once the reservation is effective. If you do not receive a confirmation email, then your reservation has not been made effective, so please contact us for assistance.
There may be circumstances when the Vehicle has already been sold (before your reservation fee is paid) but the website has not yet been updated. If this occurs, we will contact you to confirm your reservation has been cancelled and to see if we can find an alternative vehicle for you. Your reservation fee will be refunded.
If you do not make arrangements with the dealership within 48 hours, or if you do not attend an agreed appointment within 7 days of placing your reservation, the Reservation Period will end, and your reservation will be cancelled, with your reservation fee refunded.
If you attend an appointment to discuss the Vehicle and decide not to proceed, the Reservation Period will end. If you purchase the Vehicle at that appointment, your reservation fee will be retained by us as part-payment towards the Vehicle and will be treated as a deposit for the Vehicle. If the Vehicle is not suitable, and you do not wish to purchase it, your reservation fee will be refunded to you.
We may cancel your reservation if you have reserved more than 2 vehicles at any one time, or if the Vehicle is withdrawn from sale for any reason. Your reservation fee will be refunded in either case.
Any refunds can only be processed by the same method as the original payment and to the same card. Refunds will be processed within 7 days of the request, or of cancellation of your reservation, or upon your confirmation that you do not wish to purchase the Vehicle.
We are not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from the failure to comply with these terms, which is outside of our control, or for any loss or damage that was not foreseeable. We have no liability for any loss of profit, business, or business opportunity.
Aftersales Offer Terms and Conditions
Vehicles within manufacturer warranty at the date of service will be serviced in accordance with the relevant manufacturer's requirements. Vehicles no longer within manufacturer warranty at the date of service will be serviced in accordance with Bristol Street Motors requirements.
The service offer covers the provision of labour and parts for the vehicle service but excludes:
1. the cost of spark plugs or fuel filters;
2. the replacement of any parts that wear out as a consequence of use and which would normally be expected to be replaced periodically, for example (but not limited to), brake pads and discs, wiper blades, tyres, clutch friction facings, cam belts, suspension components, DPF filters and brake fluid changes; and
3. any other work identified as part of a vehicle health check at the time of the service.
The following vehicles/vehicle ranges are excluded from the service offer:
1. Nissan - all commercial vehicles, the Nissan Navara and the Nismo, GTR and RS vehicle ranges.
2. Volkswagen - all vehicles 3 years of age or under, all vehicles with an engine size over 2.0 litres and the VW Golf R.
3. SKODA - all vehicles 3 years of age or under, the Skoda Kodiaq and all vehicles in the VRS range.
4. SEAT - all vehicles 3 years of age or under, the SEAT Terraco and all Cupra vehicles.
5. Hyundai - all vehicles 30 months of age or under, all vehicles with an engine size over 2.0 litres and all vehicles in the N range.
6. Peugeot - all vehicles 30 months of age or under.
Any service performed does not constitute a warranty of any kind and will not cover the replacement of parts which suffer a mechanical failure.

This ticket promotion is provided by Vertu Motors plc, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 05984855) whose registered office is at Vertu House, Fifth Avenue Business Park, Team Valley, Gateshead, NE11 0XA trading as Bristol Street Motors (BSM). Participants agree to these terms and conditions (Terms and Conditions) and any information or guidance published by BSM form part of these Terms and Conditions.
1) TICKETS: ONE winner in each draw will receive 2 seated tickets to a concert at Co-op Live in Manchester (Venue) on a date specified below (the Prize). For clarification there are 4 separate Prizes on offer, ONE Prize per draw for ONE set of two tickets to ONE event from those listed as available:
The prize is not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Under no circumstances can this prize be transferred to a third party or sold for any financial amount. This ticket giveaway does not include any associated costs or expenses (e.g. travel costs, food, drinks, fuel or any additional costs) other than the entry / tickets to the Venue. The winner is responsible for travel to and from the Venue.
The tickets are subject to the terms and conditions of entry to the Venue which can be found at https://www.cooplive.com/pQkPrI8/terms-and-conditions and the terms and conditions of the Venue’s ticketing agent. The winner and their guest attending the Venue to enjoy their prize must comply with all policies, rules and reasonable instructions provided by the Venue operators and/or any authority at the Venue and it is the responsibility of the winner and their guest to ensure that they read applicable terms of entry. 2) ELIGIBILITY: This ticket promotion is open to any person resident in the UK who is over the age of 18. Employees of BSM or its affiliates, advertising or promotion agencies are not eligible, nor are members of these employees’ families (defined as parents, children, siblings, spouse and life partners).
Purchase is necessary and internet access, mobile number and email address are required for entry. A smartphone may be required to claim the Prize.
3) TIMING: This prize draw will run on a monthly basis for BSM Summer Check bookings made from 1st May to 31st August 2024. Entry for each Prize draw runs from midnight on the first day of the calendar month until midnight on the last day of that month (each such period being a Promotion Period).
4) ENTRY: To enter you must book your vehicle’s Summer Check at your local Bristol Street Motors dealership, during the Promotion Period, for your chance to win.
Each person may only enter once per vehicle booked for a Summer Check and must only enter on their own behalf. There is a maximum of ONE Prize per entrant. A ticket may be used by a person under 18, but that person must be accompanied by an adult. Entries will be ineligible if they are incomplete, are found to be part of an attempt to enter multiple times, violate the rights of any other person or entity or are received after the Promotion Period. Purchase is necessary to enter the ticket promotion.
Entry constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and all terms and conditions of the Venue each of which may be updated from time to time. Winners must abide by those terms at all times. BSM and the Venue accept no responsibility if the winner and/or the winner's guest are denied entry or asked to leave the event for failure to abide by such terms, any applicable law or regulation or because of their inappropriate behaviour.
BSM is not responsible for any failure or inability to enter. BSM reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who it considers (at its absolute discretion) has violated these Terms and Conditions.
5) SELECTION OF WINNERS: the winner of each Prize will be selected at random by BSM at its absolute discretion from all entrants who have entered the particular draw in the ticket promotion and met the entry requirements during the applicable Promotion Period.
6) NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS: The winners will be notified via email by BSM.
Events are allocated on a first come, first served basis. The first winner drawn will be offered a choice of the events allocated to that month’s draw. The second winner will then be offered a choice from the remaining artists and so on until all tickets have been allocated. Winners may be required to download an app in order to access their tickets and the winner must provide photo ID and any other documents as may be required by the Venue for entry.
7) USE OF YOUR ENTRY: Each winner consents to his/her personal data being provided to the Venue and the Venue’s ticketing agent. The Venue and the Venue’s ticketing agent will be provided with information (including name and address) of the winner for prize administration and databases may be checked against any banning orders as well as the National Police database for those who may be subject to a court banning order. The Venue and the Venue’s ticketing agent will not otherwise use winners' personal details for reasons other than the above, unless lawfully permitted to do so.
Each winner’s personal data will not be retained or used by the Venue or the Venue’s ticketing agent for any purpose other than distributing the tickets and the operation of the event. Any personal data you provide when you enter may be used for future BSM and any affiliated company’s marketing activities only if you indicate your consent to such activity. Otherwise, this personal data will be used by BSM and agents acting on its behalf only for the operation of, and in connection with, this ticket promotion.
8) OTHER: No correspondence will be entered into regarding either this ticket promotion or these Terms and Conditions. In the unlikely event of a dispute, BSM’s decision shall be final. BSM reserves the right to amend, modify, cancel or withdraw this ticket promotion at any time and for any reason, without notice. Participants in this ticket promotion agree that BSM will have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, costs, damage, disappointment or losses of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly from acceptance, misuse or use of the tickets, or from participation in this ticket promotion. Nothing in this clause shall limit BSM’s liability in respect of death or personal injury arising out of its own negligence or liability arising out of BSM’s fraud. This ticket promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, the Venue or Eastlands Arena Limited t/as Co-op Live.
Notwithstanding any other terms and conditions of this ticket promotion (including all terms and conditions of the Venue), no refunds or any other monetary compensation will be paid in relation to any Ticket that a winner has won in this promotion where any event is rescheduled, postponed, delayed or cancelled (for whatever reason).
9) SPIRIT OF THE TICKET PROMOTION: If an entrant attempts to compromise the integrity or the legitimate operation of this ticket promotion by cheating or committing fraud in ANY way, BSM may seek damages from that entrant to the fullest extent permitted by law. Further, BSM will disqualify that entrant’s entry to this ticket promotion and may ban the entrant from participating in any future giveaways/promotions/competitions run by BSM or any of its affiliates, so please enter fairly.
10) LAW AND JURISDICTION: This ticket promotion and these Terms and Conditions and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales. The winner irrevocably agrees that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions or its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims).

Terms and Conditions
This £500 Motability promotion is provided by:
• Vertu Motors (Continental) Limited (Continental), a company registered in England and Wales with company number 02156457 in respect of Bristol Street Motors MG Beaconsfield;
• Vertu Motors (VMC) Limited (VMC), a company registered in England and Wales with company number 00694464 in respect of Bristol Street Motors MG Carlisle; and
• Grantham Motor Company Limited (Grantham), a company registered in England and Wales with company number 04722957 in respect of Macklin Motors MG dealerships,
in each case whose registered office is at Vertu House, Fifth Avenue Business Park, Team Valley, Gateshead, NE11 0XA (First, Fourth and Grantham hereinafter referred to collectively as “Vertu”). Participants agree to these terms and conditions (Terms and Conditions) and any information or instructions published by Vertu form part of these Terms and Conditions.
PROMOTION: eligible Motability customers who test drive and order a new MG electric car (Electric Car) before 18:00 GMT on 30 June 2024 (Promotion Period) will be eligible to receive £500 either (a) towards the advance payment for the vehicle; (b) for the cost of additional extras on the vehicle; or (c) as a bank transfer to your bank account after delivery of the vehicle (Contribution), subject to these Terms and Conditions (Promotion).
OFFER: Participants who (1) test drive an MG Electric car; and (2) order any new MG Electric car within the Promotion Period will[JB1] be eligible to claim the Contribution. The Promotion is not available in conjunction with any other offer.
ELIGIBILITY: To be eligible to participate in the Promotion you must be aged 18 or over, residing and holding a valid bank account in the UK and require registration and delivery of the new MG Electric car in the UK (Participant). Employees of Vertu or its affiliates, advertising or promotion agencies are not eligible, nor are members of these employees’ families (defined as parents, children, siblings, spouse and life partners).
Participants must be an eligible and accepted customer of the Motability scheme and within the Promotion Period sign (signature or SMS agreement) an order with Vertu for a new MG Electric car.
PAYMENT: The Contribution will be either applied as a contribution against the new MG Electric car on the order or (at the Participants option) automatically paid to the Participant within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of delivery of the new MG Electric car[JB2] . Participants will, if the option is chosen, receive their Contribution by bank transfer from Vertu.
PARTICIPATION: Each Participant may only participate once and must only do so on their own behalf. Participants will only be entitled to one Contribution. Participation constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions which may be updated from time to time. Vertu is not responsible for any failure or inability to claim the Contribution. Vertu reserves the right to disqualify any Participant who it considers (at its absolute discretion) has violated these Terms and Conditions.
CANCELLATION: If the order for the new MG Electric car is cancelled, Participants will not be eligible to receive the Contribution. If the new MG Electric car is returned within 14 calendar days of the date of delivery, Participant will not be eligible to receive the Contribution and where the new MG Electric car is returned at any time after the Contribution has been paid the Contribution will be reclaimed from any refund in respect of the new MG Electric car. The date of delivery counts as day one (1).
USE OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA: Any personal data provided when purchasing an Electric Car and submitting a claim for a Contribution may be used by Vertu and any affiliated company and shall be processed in accordance with the Vertu Privacy Notice.

Beat the Goalie Event | Terms and Conditions
Upon negotiation of a new car deal with a participating Bristol Street Motors dealership, the customer will have the opportunity to participate in a goal-scoring challenge against a designated member of staff of the Dealership. If the customer successfully scores a goal, they will be eligible to choose an envelope containing a value that can be deducted from the negotiated offer. This offer is valid on new cars ordered (via SMS or digital signature of an order form) between 16 and 27 May 2024 (inclusive) and delivered by 30 June 2024 at participating Bristol Street Motors Nissan, Renault and Dacia dealerships. Participation in the goal-scoring challenge is entirely at the customer's own risk. The Dealership shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or expense incurred by the customer as a result of participating in the goal-scoring challenge, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law. Terms and conditions apply. Offer may be varied, withdrawn or extended at any time and is not available in conjunction with any other offer.

The Scenic and Megane Celebration Offer is open to customers who purchase a 100% Electric Scenic or 100% Electric Megane between 02 August and 19 August 2024, on one of the following Retail finance options*:

Conditions of offer:
- The Mobilize Home Charger offer includes standard installation based on single-phase electrics and includes:
- Installation of the charge point to the wall or other permanent structure
- Surface-mounted external cable clipped direct to the wall surface
- The fitting and testing of electrical connections, protections, and equipment as required
- Make good all drilling and penetrations to walls
- Ensure connectivity for Smart functionality on the unit
- Customer demonstration of unit, controls and mobile application
- Transport of unit from storage to customer property along with all required installation materials
- Up to 15 metres of cable, run and neatly clipped to the wall between the electricity supply meter or distribution board and the charging point
- Compliant to latest wiring regulations
- Plastic conduit/trunking to conceal interior wiring
- An electrical certificate will be issued to the Customer within 1 week of the installation following an internal checking and auditing process
Any additional work which falls outside of a standard installation (i.e, non-standard installations) will be subject to additional costs which shall be notified to the customer.
If the vehicle is cancelled after the Mobilize Home Charger is installed, the customer will be responsible for paying for the unit and standard installation in full at the recommended retail price of £949 including VAT.
If the installation is identified as non-standard, additional installation costs will be quoted and the customer will be responsible for these costs.
The Mobilize Home Charger can be installed at the customers choice of address. It can only be installed at a residential property where there is suitable off street parking.
Offer may not be substituted, exchanged, sold or redeemed for cash or other goods or services or transferred or used in conjunction with any other offers[KR1].
We reserve the right to change, amend or withdraw the offer at any time without notice.
Alternatively, a 3-year free of charge Service Plan offer and a £ 250 voucher for Charge Pass credit to use in the public infrastructure across the UK and Europe is available for new Megane and Scenic customers not opting for the Mobilize home charger offer. The competition is open to entrants who reside in England, Scotland and Wales and are at least 21 years of age or older.
Entry is not open to:

The Prize

Winner Announcement
The winner will be chosen at random and notified via the contact details provided on the test drive booking form provided by the entrant.
The Promoter will make three attempts to contact the winner. The first contact will be by phone, and then by two emails. In order to claim their Prize, winners must watch for emails coming from inbox [email protected] where they will be asked to provide a UK postal address.
If any winner does not respond to the call/email informing them of their win within 7 days of the second email, they forfeit their right to the prize, and the promoter reserves the right to select and notify a new winner.

Delivery of the Prize

The BYD DOLPHIN weekend cars will be delivered for use at a mutually convenient time and location based on each x 3 winners preference. Weekend drives must be taken within 6 months of the end of the campaign.
