Renault announces 20th consecutive year as British Film Institute partner

Renault has partnered with the British Film Institute for the 20th consecutive year and is to play a starring roll in the upcoming 59th BFI London Film Festival.

The French carmaker has provided 32 brand new Kadjar crossovers to chauffeur the films' stars, which include Benedict Cumberbatch, across London during the twelve-day event that began yesterday.

As Official Car Partner of the Festival, a role which began in 1995, Renault's Kadjar fleet will be kitted out in bespoke London Film Festival decals for the duration of the event.

The BFI Director of Development, Francesca Vinti commented: "The BFI London Film Festival is delighted to be working with Renault as our Official Car Partner. With hundreds of festival films being shown in many different locations across London, it is so reassuring to know that Renault is enabling our festival guests to travel across the city in both comfort and style. We're thrilled and privileged to welcome them back."

The event will open with Jia Zhangke's Mountains May Depart film, and will close on the 18th October with Being Evel  a dramatisation of the popular daredevil's life.

The all-new Kadjar, which was recently launched in the UK is available with a choice of two diesel and one petro efficient yet powerful engines, with manual or EDC automatic transmissions. two- or four-wheel drive and four trim levels.
