Vauxhall has announced upgrades to its range of multi-award winning vans.

The British manufacturer has introduced a number of changes to model year 2016 vans, which are available to order now.

The Vivaro and Movano vans are to have Euro-6 compliant diesel engines, along with additional assistance systems to improve the vehicle's safety even further.

The Vivaro Combi will receive turbo-diesel powertrains in both its engine options.

The entry-level 1.6 CDTi (95PS) engine with torque of 260Nm is priced at £27,094 on the road. It boasts a combined consumption of 44.8mpg and carbon dioxide emissions of 164g/km.

The new 1.6 BiTurbo CDTi (125PS) is only slightly more at £28,060 on the road. It produces torque of 320Nm and fuel consumption on a combined cycle is 49.6mpg, delivering emissions of 149g/km CO2.

The Movano vans, which include the nine-seat Movano Combi and 17-seat Movano minibus are available with new Euro6 compliant 2.3 litre BiTurbo diesel engines.

The Combi has two engine options  in 145PS and 170PS formats, whilst the Movano comes with a 145PS BiTurbo engine.
